Ambulance Victoria's (AV) mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services and provide outstanding emergency healthcare, every time.

AV's Operational Logistics Department is currently seeking suitably motivated and experienced individuals to work as Logistics Support Officers (LSO) to provide state-wide support for the preparation and deployment of vehicles, operational equipment and specialist resources to maximise operational performance. There are multiple casual positions available, working at any of the AV metropolitan Support Centres as per the roster from Monday to Saturday. Hours of work may fall between the hours of 6.30am and 6.00pm and on occasions reasonable overtime may be required.

**About the role**

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing vehicles for operational use including cleaning and restocking medical equipment
- Supporting the requirements for the Equipment Compliance Program
- Conducting vehicle relocations and changeovers based on Fleet and Equipment Service Desk information
- Ensuring assets are monitored and tracked, including stocktaking

It is a requirement that you are able to work at any one of five (5) Support Centres in Metropolitan Melbourne as needed. These are located in South Melbourne, Nunawading, Thomastown, Carrum Downs and Sunshine West.

**About you**

To be considered for this position you will possess skills and experienced use of:

- Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on working efficiently within critical timelines
- Strong commitment to customer service and demonstrate solid interpersonal and influencing skills.
- You must possess a current full Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Working in a comparative fleet or logistics environment would be an advantage.

This position is graded at Administration 11 under the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2020.
