**About the Role**
With the fabrication workload reaching a higher level, an exciting, multifaceted role has arisen for an experienced coordinator or Fabrication Specialist to join the team and commence work immediately.
Based at our Lonsdale workshop in Adelaide and reporting to the General Manager, you are responsible for seamlessly managing the fabrication processes across a range of explosive magazines as well as other Defence and Mining products.
A significant proportion of your time will be dedicated to business development and promoting the business throughout South Australia.
You will demonstrate the ability to create an empowered high performing team culture, will ensure targeted project outcomes are met in a timely manner, within budget and operating effectively and proficiently within a high safety focused environment.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Managing / Supervising day to day workforce in the workshop.
- Quality control on jobs conducted within the workshop and conduct regular checks/audits.
- Identify, develop, and implement fabrication processes and strategies to ensure we maximise efficiencies within the fabricating build.
- Coordinate and prioritise jobs accordingly and maintenance programme schedule.
- Managing clients and all quotations
- Business development, actively promote and seek new business opportunities.
- Responsible for forecast revenue reporting and cost management
- Managing stock in line with a 3-month schedule
- New employee inductions and onboarding.
- Cost control and productivity within the workshop.
- Liaising with the General Manager clients on complete of jobs.
- Liaising with workshop staff with performance or work completion issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Previous SAP experience.
