About the business

Sydney Print Media has been a well-established print company for the past 15 years, offering a large suit of integrated printing and finishing services.

We specialize in large and grand format latex and flat bed direct UV printing as well as digital, catering for many government bodies, large corporates, retail, design and event agencies Australia wide.

We are now looking for Production Coordinator with experience in the large format print industry.

About the role

If you have 3 year or more experience in the large format printing industry. Former handling with HP/Swisse Q/Fujifilm printers is desired but not essential. You will also have knowledge of running finishing equipment from guillotine to laser/flat bed cutter through to laminator.

This is a full-time position, working with production manager, log jobs follow up on projects, quality control, and supervising production team.

You will working at our state-of-the-art facilities based in South Granville, and the position is available for an immediate start.

Essential Skills:

- Job Monitoring - Using work follow software to manage jobs and update job status.
- Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Quality Control Skills - Have good understanding large format print process and material. Good knowledge of print defect. Foresee printing issues.
