**IPRSS is an outreach service that provides person-**centred**, psychosocial rehabilitation case management support, within a recovery framework**, to people who are experiencing mental health challenges**. **Based in Adelaide CBD.**

**The Role**

Mental Health Worker forms part of our trusted and committed Individual Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Support Services (IPRSS) team. Reporting to the IPRSS Manager, this position will provide support to individuals living with mental health challenges who are working toward recovery.

Clients are aged 16 - 65 years and require support to engage with community. This can include working alongside a range of stakeholders such as family, community programs and mental health services to assist with planning and creating opportunities for the individual to reach their personal goals.

This position is key to providing person-centred case management to support psychosocial rehabilitation within a recovery framework.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Certificate 4 level qualification in Mental Health (non-clinical) or equivalent qualification.
- Expertise in working with people experiencing mental health challenges.
- Great interpersonal and listening skills to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with service providers, clinical teams, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working with a recovery framework and a trauma informed approach in your daily work.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and de-escalate crises.
- Administration skills, including use of database systems to maintain and update case notes.
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
