**About the Role**

The National Coordinator for Mental Health will be responsible for the development of staff with a strategic focus on mental health services for Ramsay.

You will be accountable for engaging with Education Providers and Ramsay Executives to develop and deliver an implementation plan to provide a pathway for staff and services. In addition, you will be involved in the governance framework for the Academy and Mental services across Ramsay.

**About You**
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (APHRA)
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act & associated regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and extended practice in Mental Health Nursing utilising evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated professional leadership, team contribution, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven commitment to the development of learning, teaching, and research-oriented work environment within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Demonstrated high-level communication, liaison, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Evidence of understanding patient safety and clinical quality factors impacting Mental Health care delivery.

Desirable:

- Working towards or post graduate qualification in Mental Health, Health services or management
- Previous experience in acute general nursing
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar.
