**Description**:
About the Role

The Safety & Quality Officer will assist with compliance, quality, and risk management agenda across the organization as per ATSICHS Brisbane’s Quality Policy and Procedures Manual. If you are passionate about community health and creating safe and effective health outcomes then this position is for you. We are looking for applicants with experience in Standards such as HSQF, Aged Care, NDIS and other community groups.

Duties

The Safety & Quality Officer will be involved in implementing and reviewing policies/procedures developed by the Safety & Quality team. This role will support systems and frameworks for ensuring individual project’s/program’s designs and objectives are met.
Work across the broad services that ATSICHS provides and work actively to problem-solve and implement improvement ideas.
Support fellow staff in a team environment to build a sense of belongingness within the team and ATSICHS family. Staff will actively participate in team activities and contribute to a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Required

Completed (or working towards completing) Cert IV or greater in Health Care/Social Work/Business/Administrative fields.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications.
Demonstrated previous experience assisting in audit processes.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Previous experience in comparable not for profit, government or private sector organisation.

Additional Requirements
- Current drivers licence
- Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply
- Disability worker screening card (yellow card) or eligible to apply
- Current Police Check
