**The Role**
Defence Mobility is looking for an experienced, motivated, high performing individual to manage the delivery of ICT capability. This role is ideal for someone with a can-do approach, with a strong understanding of mobile ICT systems, a history of project or program management and who enjoys working in a secure, dynamic, fast paced public sector environment.

The role is responsible for managing the Mobility Program of work:

- Provide oversight of multiple projects/activities and in-service ICT mobile capabilities within the Mobility program across security domains from Official up to Protected.
- Manage a diverse team with different skill sets whether that be technical and non-technical i.e. project managers and technical engineers
- Manage the roadmap of the ICT Mobility program capabilities for Defence
- Manage, support and deliver continuous enhancement to the ICT Mobility Platform across multiple security domains.
- Manage project management tools to ensure the information is maintained, relevant and up to date, including Schedule, Risks and Issues, Project Status Reports, Financial reports, and dependencies.
- Raise exception reports when a project has failed to meet its timeframes and needs to be re-baselined.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
- Ensure vendors and other supporting teams meet deadlines and timeframes agreed by the project.

The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have proven experience in managing a diverse team which includes, project managers and technical engineers.
- Have in-depth knowledge of project and program management with proven experience in managing and delivering multiple ICT projects.
- Experience in managing Mobile ICT projects;
- Have strong stakeholder management skills and ability in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate outcomes.
- Be able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable.
