**Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre**:
Our Sports and Activities team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Children’s Activities Assistant/ Instructor to our Customers at the Mandurah Aquatic Recreation Centre.

You will be responsible for:

- Assisting and supporting the Sports and Activities team in Children’s Programs
- Delivering a fun, safe and stimulating environment for children
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work with mínimal supervision
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism at all times
- Ability to supervise and motivate other people
- Excellent personal presentation
- Good level of physical fitness

To be successful you will have:

- A good level of physical fitness
- Previous experience in the provision of children’s or adult’s leisure, sport and recreation activities and programs
- Organizational and time management skills
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Senior First Aid Certificate

**The finer details**

This Casual position attracts an hourly rate of Level 1/16 years $21.94 - Level 2 $36.67 per hour, inclusive of 20% casual loading dependant on age, qualifications and experience.

As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
