**About the Organisation***

The Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ) is one of 23 Dioceses that form the Anglican Church of Australia. ACSQ works to care for and improve the life of the community through its network of parishes, schools, education and care services, community services and ministry education.

This role sits within the Finance and Diocesan Services Commission (FDSC) of ACSQ. FDSC supports the delivery of the mission of the Church by providing strategic direction, leadership and oversight in the areas of property management, information technology and digital innovation, human resources (including Payroll), financial services, strategic planning, and workplace health and safety. FDSC supports the Church by guiding the effective use of Diocesan resources and bringing a ‘whole of Diocese’ view/insight into decision making and governance.

**About the Person***

We are seeking a values-based leader who possesses significant experience in IT at a senior leader level. In addition, you will have proven knowledge across risk, security, and quality assurance within a large and diverse organisation. You will have experience of strategic planning, review and execution of Technological solutions that deliver business outcomes. You will be ‘hands on’ and be able to pivot according to the department and organisation’s needs.

**Key Skills and experience**
- 7+ years’ experience in senior (digital, IT) role with a proven track record
- Experienced in successful IT budget control, vendor contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders, providing innovative technological solutions to meet their business needs
- Proven project management and delivery/execution experience; ensuring responsiveness and stakeholder needs
- Proven leadership skills at Business Unit level including employee engagement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Credible communicator with influence and negotiation skills
- Able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect with internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties
- Relevant tertiary qualification
