Eldercare is seeking a** **full time** **Maintenance Officer to provide essential professional maintenance services across Eldercare's residential aged care facilities and retirement living villages, this role will primarily be based at Wayville.

**What is the role**:

- Provide excellent customer service to our residents, staff, and visitors.
- Carry out a variety of hands on programmed and reactive maintenance duties including gardening, painting, minor plumbing and building repairs
- Electrical Testing and Tagging (Training provided)
- Minor repairs to wheelchairs, beds, and various resident equipment
- Assist in overseeing compliance relating to fire safety and accreditation
- Supervise external contractors.

**What do you bring**:

- Previous, relevant experience
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and able to prioritise work
- A pleasant, friendly, and helpful approach with a positive and can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships
- Current Driver's Licence

- To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._

- _Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year_
- _Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines_
