**The opportunity**
The Channel Owner is responsible for constantly uplifting the quality of work on your channel as well as improving the customer/employee experience.

In this role you will develop ways to constantly enhance the channel by monitoring competitors and market movements as well as staying close to our vendors. You will create plans that update or introduce features that grow market share and reduce cost and make us more efficient.

In addition, some of your responsibilities include:

- Utilising analytics that service the needs of the business and allow for informed decision making on new changes
- Supporting and maintaining stable digital channels that meets the ongoing needs of the business
- Ensuring stakeholders are abreast of any changes along the whole journey
- Analysing business processes and interviewing employees to determine areas for improvement and automation with the help of BU SME’s - with a focus on Lean/Agile delivery
- Developing a plan for improvement that includes specific goals, time frames, and resources required - such as by creating flowcharts and diagrams of processes, identifying potential problems and solutions, and implementing changes
- Maintaining close working relationships with the leaders of front-line teams to ensure they are consulted and prepared for changes that are planned for the digital platform
- As the Owner of a platform that requires constant upkeep and enhancements from our Tech partners this relationship will be critical to your success

**About you**
As part of your role is to work as the conduit between strategy and execution you have demonstrated experience in building and cultivating effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders.

Your ability to identify and understand the key priorities, how to influence at all levels and how best to execute tactfully will see you achieve exceptional outcomes.

In addition, your capabilities include:

- 5+ years’ experience as a web analytics / Website owner / Digital product owner or similar role
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience with the ability to explain complex and technical information in simple terms
- Experience leading digital initiatives through digital best practice, with the ability to articulate this to others
- An acute awareness that you will not act independently and will form part of a larger ecosystem that requires regular attention and updates
- The ability to effectively plan how to improve your channel is critical
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment / industry as well as excellent knowledge of the Agile framework and practices
- Strong knowledge in digital best practice with the ability to articulate this to others in a way that brings up their level of interest and does not exclude them
