**About the Organisation**:
This Federal government agency manages intellectual property rights in Australia.
- **Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced Organisational Design Specialist to lead a comprehensive project focused on the review of leadership roles within the organisation.- **Contract Duration**: 6 Months + Possibility of 12 Months Extension
- **Location**: Canberra**Requirements**:

- Baseline Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Provide a short pitch relevant to the role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct independent role evaluations using the designated Role Evaluation Tool.
- Evaluate information against Work Level Standards and Role Evaluation Tool.
- Interview staff to gather insights on role responsibilities and tasks.
- Verify and collect additional data from role supervisors (equivalent to General Managers - SES Band1).
- Document and summarise assessments and outcomes.
- Analyse outcomes to identify improvement opportunities in line with organisational design best practices.
- Manage the review project with the Director of Workforce Planning, including planning and monitoring.
- Provide regular project updates to the Director and assist with solution development as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR Organisational Design team for project coordination.
- Communicate effectively with peers, executives, and stakeholders.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines with strong organisational skills.

**Additional Support**:

- Administrative assistance for the project will be extended by members of the Organisational Design team.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Demonstrated expertise in organisational design, role evaluation, and project management.
- Familiarity with the designated Role Evaluation Tools and Work Level Standards is advantageous.
- Robust analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with a proactive approach to challenging existing norms and identifying improvement avenues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with staff at all hierarchical levels.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at working autonomously to meet project milestones.
