Antec Concrete Equipment is a leading supplier of concrete and grout mixing and pumping equipment.

The Storeperson will be given the responsibility of managing all elements of the store function. They are required to assist and manage a diverse range of responsibilities including goods receipt/dispatch, freight, inventory management, engagement with customers and suppliers.

The ideal Storeperson will have the ability and desire to grow their responsibilities and advance their career within the Antec Concrete Equipment team. This includes training and managing future warehouse employees and the potential for promotion into a more senior position (e.g. warehouse management, parts interpreting/sales).

**Specific duties and responsibilities**
- Receive, check and sign for all deliveries made to site
- Check all deliveries to ensure goods are in the condition as ordered and identify any discrepancies
- Load and unload goods from delivery/courier vehicles as require for receipt and dispatch
- Picking, packing and storing goods, including by using a forklift
- Accurately update inventory management software systems
- Liaise with suppliers about deliveries and any discrepancies in stock
- Manage all outgoing freight requirements for goods being dispatched
- Conduct inventory management tasks, including rolling stock takes, allocating goods into bins, ensuring a high degree of stock accuracy
- Ensure store area is maintained in a neat, tidy and professional condition at all times
- Ensure store area is maintained in safe condition at all times
- Assist other company departments as required when instructed by company management (e.g. part sales)

**Required skills and competencies**
- Proficient in use of computer systems (e.g. Microsoft office suite, stock management systems)
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- High degree of organisation
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic with a team-based mindset
- Strong communication skills are essential as the position will require interaction with all divisions of the business, including Directors and Management, plus customers and suppliers
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy when executing tasks
- Previous store experience considered favourably but not essential
- Good condition of health and fitness
- Forklift licence and drivers licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
