**Public Sector People** are working with a government organisation within Southeast Queensland.

We have an exciting role available located in the South Brisbane Region.

We are looking for two experienced
**Plumbing Inspectors** for short-term contracts until the end of the year + and possible extensions.

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing installations in both residential and commercial properties to ensure compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
- Evaluate plumbing plans and specifications for accuracy and adherence to relevant codes.
- Collaborate with contractors, builders, and property owners to provide guidance and clarification on plumbing code requirements.
- Document inspection findings accurately and provide detailed reports outlining any violations or areas of improvement.
- Recommend corrective actions to address non-compliant plumbing installations and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

**About you**:

- Must be able to start the role within 2 weeks.
- Open to short-term contract roles
- You must hold a current plumbing license and qualifications.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Good understanding of the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018, the Plumbing and Drainage Regulation 2019
