**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for a skilled K-6 Teacher (2 Point Co-ordinator) on a full-time temporary basis, commencing Term 3.

**Specific Criteria**:

- Work in close collaboration with school & CSPD leaders to plan, implement and evaluate the school’s Improvement Plans in English and Mathematics
- Collaboratively plan and schedule professional learning for teachers to achieve the aims of each Improvement Plan
- Develop schedules for the collection of data to inform next steps in each Improvement Plan
- Analyse data collected to identify and respond to student vulnerability & growth
- Engage CSPD Teacher Educators to work with and consult on teaching practice
- Collaboratively plan, enable & evaluate regular quick win cycles as per each Implementation Plan
- Schedule co-planning, co-teaching and co-reflection aligned to each Implementation Plan and quick win cycle
- Determine formative and summative assessment sources that will be used to inform the progress of each quick win cycle
- Design evaluation instruments that will be used to assess the effectiveness and impact of each quick win cycle
- Actively promote the school’s Agreed Practice for Mathematics and English
- Support staff with the implementation of the new Mathematics and English syllabus documents.

**The 2 Point Coordinator role will consist of**:

- Supporting and implementing the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School
- Demonstrating the highest levels of personal and professional integrity
- Involvement in the selection and induction of new staff
- Guiding staff in managing and supporting students on Personalised Plans and Behaviour Plans
- Collaborating with students, staff, leadership and parents in order to support the needs of the community
- Working with CSPD Support & Learning Teams
- Driving the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School
- Leading staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence
- Promoting and understanding the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning
- Preparing students for changing demands of a global community
- Establishing a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community

**About you**:
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment with the core purpose and values of CSPD along with:

- An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches
- Extensive knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas
- Excellence in Literacy and numeracy pedagogy is required
- A strong focus on behaviour management and student wellbeing
- Knowledge and implementation of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning
- A demonstrated understanding of what constitutes effective, developmentally appropriate strategies in learning and teaching programs
- Ability to make content meaningful to students
- A commitment to work with and within a collaborative team environment
- Well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills
- Able to assist in motivating staff and students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning
- PBS4L experience would be valuable
