**About the Team**

The Transport Communications and Experience Group provides leadership, advice and delivery of Strategic Communications & Engagement through partnering business operations and providing channel expertise in order to deliver the Department's strategic priorities.

**About the Opportunity**

This excellent opportunity will assist in giving community and stakeholders a voice in project planning and delivery and developing communications materials that inform about the benefits of projects which impact them.

- Comprehensive understanding of projects and programs
- Development of communications and engagement plans
- Delivery of communications and engagement plans
- Collaboration

**What we're looking for**
- **Interpersonal Skills** - Detects the underlying concerns, interests or emotions that lie behind what is being said and done;
- **Communicate with Impact** - Identifies key messages and information required for decision-making;
- **Project Delivery** - Defines tasks to be delivered to meet agreed outcomes;
- **Stakeholder Management** - Identifies and manages a range of complex innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues.
- **Political and Organisational Context** - Understands issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond;
**Desirable**
- Prior experience in community engagement
- Strong writing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- IAP2 accreditation
