**About the role**

The SBS On Demand team currently have one full time UX/UI Designer role available. The position is a key member of our Mobile Product Team.

We are looking for someone who will tackle problems head-on and transform them into designs that not only look great but are intuitive and easy to use. Even though you are part of a team, you will be accountable for your own work and drive your own time and delivery with direction and support from your line manager. You will be a key member of our Mobile Product team or our Web & TV Product team to explore, test, design and deliver exciting, and valuable features for our audiences. In addition you will:

- Work closely with other designers, business analysts, product owners and developers to solve problems and create design solutions that delight across our multiple mobile platforms
- Use best of breed research methods and tools to explore new concepts that address key audience problems including ethnographic research, journey maps, wireframes, functional prototypes and proactively test these with users
- Leverage your visual design and UI skills to embody SBS’s bold, different and diverse brand values in the design of new streaming experiences
- Build strong working relationships at all levels with internal teams and stakeholders and build problem-solving partnerships

You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with:

- Experience in Agile methodologies, working practices and mindsets
- Experience working on similar video streaming serves as a distinct advantage
- Ability to generate customer-focused ideas to take the design and experience of On Demand to the next level
- Demonstrated UX or visual design skills as well as prototyping skills
- Knowledge and excitement about trends and developments in digital design
- Hunger and passion to stretch thinking and consider new possibilities
- Excellent oral, written, visual and facilitation communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to lead strong interpersonal relationships with genuine intent
- Innovative ideas and the ability to user your own initiative to achieve a required outcome
