Capital management and investor services fintech is looking to grow their capability in UX UI design. Take ownership over this critical role in driving product development of their 'bleeding edge' products.

In this boutique team, you will bolster their user experience and interface design, implement and maintain the design systems, stakeholder and user engagement. At the same time, you have the chance to be an inspiring product design lead to define and refine the UX strategy moving forward.

**Some Responsibilities of the role**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product owners and engineers, to conceptualize and design user-friendly digital products and interfaces.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Implement and maintain product design systems
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and enhance the user experience.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and industry best practices.
- Maintain and enforce design guidelines, standards, and consistency across all digital assets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continually improve the design process.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist in defining and evolving the overall design strategy and vision of the company.

**An outline of experience needed**:

- You have at last 4+ years of commercial experience as a UX/UI Designer.
- User-centred design principles and best practices.
- Design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar.
- experienced in implementing and maintaining design systems.
- User research and usability testing methodologies.
- Effective communicator design ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of web and mobile design trends and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand and knowledge of web development such as Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, API integration or similar technologies are bonus.

Salary on offer $140k base + super + extras
