**Job description**:
Join a leading private sector organisation as they experience unprecedented growth and play a crucial role in the enhancement of security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving cyber risk reduction strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of Cyber Security and Technology Governance within the organisation
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate technology risks and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security program, policies, and standards.
- Manage compliance programs, including PCI Certification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for daily cyber security activities and assessments.
- Oversee Cyber Security Tools, including Vulnerability Management and End Point Detection & Response.
- Lead project management efforts for Cyber Security projects, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Analyze the security threat landscape and perform technology security risk assessments.
- Drive the remediation of security assessment findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to enterprise vulnerability management and risk calculation.
- Maintain an overall security posture reporting program.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role where you have lead the Cyber Security efforts for a large and complex enterprise environment.
- Expertise in risk reduction strategies, internal/external regulatory compliance, and industry frameworks (NIST, 27001, Essential 8).
- Profound understanding of defence-in-depth and Zero-Trust strategies.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools.
- Preferred certifications: Security+, CISA, CRISC, CISSP.
- Proficiency in risk management frameworks and assessments.
- Strong analytical skills and adept at stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of security best practices, PCI, NIST, ISO, and Essential 8.
- Excellent communication skills, translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation and manage stakeholder relationships.
