**The Role**
As a member of the Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Program Management Office, you will work independently, accountable for assisting in the implementation of the Vice Chief of Defence Force Capability Program Architecture Directive for the Joint C4 Program.

You will have extensive knowledge of Program Management, government decision-making and Defence’s mission, strategic objectives and policies requirements, including the One Defence Capability System.

You will have strong stakeholder management skills and be expected to engage with senior leaders on a frequent basis. Your ability to critically analyse capability and simplify complex capability investment decisions is essential to enable delivery of Joint C4 effects across the Joint Force.

As a Capability Analyst you will use your strong leadership skills to innovatively and collaboratively:

- Implement the Joint C4 Program Strategy, providing specialist advice, problem solving and issues management on complex matters.
- Maintain JC4 Program interactions with key internal and external stakeholders, including with other Government Departments and Agencies.
- Function within a high performing and cohesive team to support a professional and collaborative Joint C4 culture.

**About our Team**
The Joint Command, Control, Communication and Computers (Joint C4) Branch is accountable for remediating the current, and assuring the future, Joint Force’s Command and Control backbone. The Joint C4 capabilities are the foundation of the Sensor à Decider à Effector framework and are the glue for employing the Joint Force across the Land, Maritime, Air & Space, and Information & Cyber Domains.

Joint C4 branch is accountable for:

- Warfighting Networks and Applications - to allow Commanders to coordinate and synchronise a connected Joint Force.
- Joint Data Networks - to exchange warfighting data and battlespace information.
- HF Communications - to transport battlespace information.
- Communications Security - to enable secure communications across the battlespace.
- Defence Artificial Intelligence Centre - continuous digital enablement of our Joint Force.

Joint C4 Branch is a mix of APS, ADF and contracted personnel, who work together in a One Defence mindset to support the war fighter and Defence outcomes.
- Play an important role within a team focused on achieving excellence across a variety of areas in high-profile, very complex projects. This will be attributed by your high standards, pursuing tasks to completion, and attention to detail.
