The key responsibilities of the AO3 level Administration Officer (SCAN) in a Child Safety Service Centre are as follows:

- Follow guidelines in relation to human resources, records management, finance, travel and administrative policies and procedures.
- Follow guidelines in relation to maintaining vehicle, building and equipment in line with departmental procedures and policies to facilitate the effective functioning of the service centre.
- Provide support to scheduled and emergency SCAN team meetings as required ensuring quality document preparation such as minutes, agendas, reports, statistics, memoranda and correspondence to SCAN team members as required.
- Follow guidelines in relation to human resources, records management, finance, travel and administrative policies and procedures.
- Follow guidelines in relation to maintaining vehicle, building and equipment in line with departmental procedures and policies to facilitate the effective functioning of the service centre.
- Work collaboratively with team members and understand the roles and responsibilities within the service centre to deliver efficient services with a view to meet deadlines, and to be flexible in a changing work environment.
- Develop and maintain professional and collaborative relationships and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Performs ad hoc duties consistent with the responsibilities of the role as directed by the supervisor. Reporting relationships and delegations This role reports to the Business Officer in the Child Safety Service Centre and has no direct reports or delegations.
