This family of products is branded MineStar. **Job Duties & Responsibilities may include but not limited to**:
Provide benefits to mining customers in the area of Fleet Management, Health Monitoring, Safety Systems and Autonomous Operations. Be a key contributor in the concept, development, and design of complex components, subsystems and processes. Contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology and deepen your professional network. Work in a team environment, with worldwide scope, combining your knowledge of information, communication or electronic technologies with customer requirements to advance the product in the marketplace.

We are seeking a proactive Cloud / Software Engineer within our product development group. Motivated by the opportunity to deliver high quality software products to mining technology customers, you will thrive in an environment where you can collaborate with other technical professionals.

As a Cloud / Software engineer you will help to create services as well as ensure a cohesive integration with contributed components.

**Specific Responsibilities include**:
Working within an Agile product development group:

- Work in a small team, as part of a larger software delivery organization, to develop software, tested, on time and to requirements
- Participate in the SAFe / Agile software engineering process, including stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning and reviews
- Leverage existing frameworks to develop backend services

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- C#, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest APIs
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS Functions / Web Apps
- Desire to grow in Azure or AWS Architecture - Containers, Networking, Security
- Automated test development
- Ability to work within a product development group
- Ability to work from requirements and identify exceptional use cases
- Experience in Agile methodology and use case development
- Be prepared to be on call to support our customers
- Experience in the analysis and specification of complex large-scale site level software technology systems and products.

**Desired Skills and Experience (any of the following)**:

- Experience with fleet management or vehicle monitoring systems
- Experience in mining, civil engineering or surveying industry.
- Skills in cloud technologies - Azure or AWS an advantage
- Skills in web development including HTML5, React or Angular, JQuery, or Typescript
- Ability to interpret UX designs and build UI screens from mock-ups
- Azure DevOps
- Python
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline
