A permanent part-time opportunity to join a creative, supportive, dedicated, and well-established marketing and communications team, based at our Ultimo head office.

The Marketing Associate, Sponsorships reports to and work closely with the Campaign Manager, Revenue, to develop and manage national partnership opportunities including a suite of existing agreements as well as developing compelling content outside those agreements. Representing OneMusic Australia, the successful applicant will provide marketing assistance to ensure a high level of OneMusic brand awareness with stakeholders and media outlets and deliver a ‘secure a licence’ key message to all businesses and organisations using our music.

The role is broad. A typical week might include:

- Consulting with the OneMusic sales team on timing, current penetration, sales opportunities, customer perceptions and lead pipeline
- Researching new sponsorships/partnerships and conducting outreach at a senior level
- Executing OneMusic’s sponsorship stream within the sales and marketing plan including creating video, written or image-based content
- Making creative, bespoke recommendations on all elements of agreement including spend, billing and acquittal
- Managing the media and stakeholder contacts database
- Managing live performance, conference and exhibition activations including travel

What you will need to be successful:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree in marketing or related qualification is ideal
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent copywriting skills - able to copywrite and edit effective marketing copy and website content
- Solid event management and print production skills
- Proven track record working at an intermediate level with content management systems for website and social content uploads
- Knowledge of media landscape and news
- Fluency with Microsoft Office suite, form building and file sharing software
