**About the role**: As a Principal Project Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of high-level operational and strategic support functions for the Technical Services team.You will enjoy coordinating business and corporate activities to support Technical Services' business planning, performance monitoring and reporting.Your experience in enterprise risk management and governance, as well as provision of high-level project support to leadership is highly regarded.
**To be successful you will have**: - Driven the development and delivery of corporate and strategic services, providing high-level advice to leadership on strategic and operational businessmatters. Experience in actioning urgent and sensitive matters on behalf of leadership, using effective leadership skills and persuasive communication to achieve critical business outcomes. Maintained current knowledge of portfolio issues, priorities and policies to ensure that the planning and delivery of activities are aligned and coordinated with the Government and Department strategic direction. Lead implementation and coordination of planning and reporting frameworks, while fostering networks and business relationships with staff, clients, stakeholders, and other Government agencies. Proactively reviewed and implemented new strategies and processes, engaging staff using appropriate change management techniques to achieve successful outcomes on behalf of senior management.
