Technical Support Specialist

**Your New Opportunity**:
Due to massive growth we have a career opportunity for a **Technical Support Specialist **to join our high performing On-Highway team. This role will be located in Wacol, providing technical support in the **Truck Market **to internal and external stakeholders.
**In this role you will**:
- Provide technical support to Penske's service teams, OEMs and end customers in the On-Highway Truck Market within Australia and New Zealand.
- Provide troubleshooting support to Penske technicians.
- Liaise with OEM factory representatives to facilitate technical support.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and OEMs, and key suppliers, management and staff.
- Work internally with Parts & Service with regard to support issues and elevate appropriately within the technical support team.
- Work within the technical support team on failure analysis.
**About you**:
- Technical engineering qualifications or relevant trade & industry experience.
- Knowledge and experience of **MAN, Western Star and Detroit** products and services is desirable.
- Computer literacy to a level necessary to manipulate spreadsheets, develop effective presentations for internal/external customers and write technical reports.
- Effective time management and sound administrative ability.
- Ability and comfort to travel with a role requiring a degree of regular travel within Australia and New Zealand.
