**My Gateway** is partnering with the **Oaks Preschool** looking for someone who is eager to start their career in childcare.

This is a great opportunity for Trainees who are passionate about early childhood education to receive on the job training

The successful applicants will be working with children aged between four to five and will be floating across 2 rooms. As part of the traineeship, you will complete a **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care**.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure children, families and staff feel safe, happy and secure at Pre-School.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Help children with hygiene duties such as washing hands
- Ensure all programs, observations, evaluations and portfolios are maintained.
- Prepare food and general cleaning duties.
- Arrange play based learning activities.
- Prepare lesson plans.
- Update parents about their children's progress.
