We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for experienced Investigators to take the next step in their career in our Investigations team.
A fantastic permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Investigator to join the Building team.
The Investigations Officer is part of the Victorian Building Authorities Investigations team and is responsible for assessing and investigating referrals from a range of internal and external sources. In this role, the Investigations Officer is required to identify breaches of building legislation, regulations and professional standards.This will involve conducting interviews, preparing reports and detailed briefs of evidence, participating in court proceedings, providing advice and information to the building industry.
**What we are looking for**:
- experience in a compliance or regulatory environment undertaking investigations, preparing reports and/or briefs of evidence with the ability to undertake analysis and reporting of data.
- demonstrated conceptual problem-solving skills and ability to analyse information and make sound decisions.
- proven communications skills, both written and verbal and interpersonal skills
- demonstrated experience working as an Investigations officer, a Cert IV in Government investigations or higher qualifications.
