This newly created management position has come about through a recent restructure and will provide clinical leadership to a range of Community AOD programs such as Intake & Assessment, Counselling & Assessment, Care & Recovery, Intensive Support, and Family Reunification Orders team. You will have responsibility for people management, staff development and ensuring services are delivered in line with clinical best practice and quality outcomes.

This role will work in partnership with an Operations Manager in the region and form part of the senior management team across the state. You will be working for a highly regarded not for profit organisation that values diversity and relationships, and has developed their own evidenced-based practice framework.
- A relevant health and or welfare Tertiary/Degree Qualification such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Allied Health Sciences or Post Graduate qualification
- Prior leadership experience and the ability to effectively coach, motivate and mentor staff
- Experience in therapeutic approaches such as: Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Coping Skills Training, Family Inclusive Practice, self-help groups, Community Reinforcement Approaches.
- The ability to work with diverse and complex clients in a non-judgemental manner
- An authentic leader and prior experience providing clinical supervision
- Well developed written communication skills and ability to support the development of clinical guidelines
- A collaborative approach to working with peers and external stakeholders
- Certificate IV in AOD or have completed the required competencies (or able to complete within the first 12 months of employment).
