The role will see you provide installation, inspection and testing services to our growing customer base in Western Australia.
**About the Role**
Our Service Technicians are fully qualified with access to industry-specific, product-specific, and nationally accredited training and are expected to utilise Mechanical, Electrical or Electrotechnology trade-engineering knowledge whilst maintaining good customer relationships on a day-to-day basis. They are adaptable and flexible, doing what needs to be done, at the times and locations required.
**Service Technician Responsibilities**:
- Carry out regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Respond to breakdowns, problem solving and implementing solutions effectively
- Assembly and install new equipment
- Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Deliver clear and timely communication
- Effectively manage your time and deliver seamless customer service
**You Must Have**:
- A current Australian driver's licence
- An Australian unrestricted Electrical Licence with minimum 2 years post trade experience
- Experience with electrical and FMCG automation (conveyors, high-speed production & packaging machinery)
- Mechanical aptitude and exposure to pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of PLC and controls
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Understanding of OH&S requirements
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships with customers.
- A valid right to live and work in Australia
