Service Technician

Our client, a reputable automotive company, is currently seeking a capable Service Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting smaller repairs and services, with the opportunity to gain experience in express maintenance. If you have at least 1 year of post-apprenticeship experience (or 2+ years without an Australian Apprenticeship) and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, this is the opportunity for you.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 1 year of post-apprenticeship experience (or 2+ years without an Australian Apprenticeship).
- Proficient in conducting smaller repairs and services. Experience in express maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct smaller repairs and services, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with the team to increase the daily repair order (RO) count.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Good hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
- Additional incentives available.
- Staff and family rates on new and vehicle purchases, financing, and after-sales purchases.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, 76-hour fortnight. Option for a 4-day week on a 9-day fortnight.
- Join a well-equipped workshop with 21 bays, including 4 express bays and 1 wheel alignment bay.
- Work alongside a team of 30 dedicated professionals, including 14 Technicians and 4 apprentices.
