The Role
Your role will be to enhance the quality of life and independence of residents at the facility. You will facilitate tailored restorative and rehabilitative programs with specific instructions from a team of Physiotherapists, supervise individualised programs including falls prevention education, functional retraining as well as strength and balance exercises.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide consistently high quality clinical support of allied health needs such as reviewing mobility equipment and requirements
Work to professional and safety standards as well as identify and assess risks
Assist with the overall delivery of holistic and high quality care services
Produce accurate and professional case notes in line with industry and compliance frameworks
**Work effectively as part of a clinical team About You**:
Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance - an overseas Physiotherapy qualification is also acceptable
Demonstrated experience working with Physiotherapists and/or facilitating exercise programs in Aged Care
Ability to complete activities within scope of practice and seek assistance when required
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, team work and customer service skills
