The **Women’s & Children’s Health Network** provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Cleft and Craniofacial SA Team as **Craniofacial Unit Registrar** from 5th February 2024 to 2nd February 2025

Your initial rotation will be in the position of Craniofacial Unit Registrar for a period of 12 months.
As per the SMOEA 2023, the total of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

As the Craniofacial Registrar you will contribute to the clinical care of inpatients and outpatients who are under the care of the Cleft and Craniofacial SA at the WCH and RAH under consultant supervision. You will participate in clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital and some experience as an Advanced Trainee.

You will have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.

If you have clinical skills appropriate for the duties performed in the Craniofacial unit, are able to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment, are ability to communicate effectively with patients and other staff and are able to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads, then this role is for you.
