**About the team**:
In 2023, we are establishing a new business within Coles Group responsible for supplying products to business customers. We have signed our first major customer - the current Coles Express business, which we have announced the sale of to our Strategic Partner - Viva Energy, and are preparing for launch. As a result, we seek to employ a number of experienced Supply & Demand Planners to join the team.
Joining this new business will be an opportunity for you to step up and enhance your career pathway. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the team’s aspirations to be a leading business supplier of grocery, convenience, and supply chain services.

**About the role**:
You will work closely with the rest of our Product Supply team to support the establishment of the Supply Chain function including processes, systems and relationships with our key suppliers and partners. Your role will form an integral part of this new business, helping us kick off strongly and then helping to shape and deliver the long-term strategy

You’ll also:

- Support the delivery of business initiatives (eg. Onboarding new suppliers, optimisation initiatives etc.)
- Engage with business representatives and relevant stakeholders to identify, plan and implement potential solutions incl. deliverables, timelines, resources and costs
- Develop process maps and reporting
- Manage forecasting tools, and measure the accuracy of forecasts vs actual volume
- Forecast volume and support execution of the planned replenishment approach to planned and unplanned events
- Manage stock replenishment plans and alerts, ensuring that stock flow support availability, stock management, and waste outcomes
- Plan and implement the integration of new customer delivery points or changes to delivery routes

**About you and your skills**:
As a well-qualified supply & demand professional with experience in FMCG merchandising / supply chain planning roles, you have a proven track record of delivering for customers, especially in times of supply difficulties.

You’ll also have:

- Good communication and engagement skills, comfortable dealing with customers and working through supply chain challenges
- Proven track record of using analytical problem solving and insights to develop or improve processes or systems in a retail or similar environment
- Ability to drive continuous improvement of processes and tools to support project delivery
- Experience with supplier / customer relationship management, as well as replenishment and inventory management
