**LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR (F&B) - TRAINING, GOVERNANCE & DELIVERY**

Join our team as Learning & Development Advisor at The Star Brisbane.

The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia’s newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.

There is a 5-month and 7-month FT contract available

**A few of your responsibilities**
- Training event management: Onsite facilitation of co-designed workshops, booking facilities, managing training records and processing invoices
- Assisting in the design and delivery of capability framework-aligned Food & Beverage initiatives and programs
- Building effective relationships with Food & Beverage team members and internal stakeholders that contribute to the creation of a high-performance culture
- Drafting and disseminating communications to targeted participant groups via a range of channels
- Responding to first point of contact enquiries related to Food & Beverage training and development

**What we will be looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline and/or Cert IV Training and Assessment
- Practical F&B, hospitality and/or events industry knowledge and experience
- Experience facilitating learning for diverse learner cohorts including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work in a highly regulated, complex and dynamic change environment
- Strong technical skills including experience use Microsoft apps, Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Forms and Word

**About you**

This role will suit those who have exceptional facilitation skills and are comfortable leading and hosting professional training events. You will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and delivery of Food & Beverage training initiatives for The Star Brisbane. Using your strong communication and organisational skills you will ensure that the training needs of our Team Members are met.

**About us**

The $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is being delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium - a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group alongside its partners.

When complete, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will deliver four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new food and beverage experiences, significant luxury retail, the restoration of nine heritage buildings and around 1,500 residential apartments.
