Stockpersons

Positions are available for suitably experienced Stockpersons to join a reputable family feedlot and cropping enterprise situated on the outskirts of Toowoomba, QLD. This is a pen riding role that requires the applicants to have their own stock horses, to perform all of aspects of pen riding including mustering, inducting cattle, health checks, animal husbandry, feeding cattle, and cleanliness of the feedlot. Previous ability and experience in pen riding is essential. The client run around 350 Wagyu cattle, and produce their own wheats and cereals, across 4,000 acres. Local applicants are encouraged to apply, as at this stage there is no accommodation available on the property, however this could change down the track. A day rate will be discussed upon the interview stage, and a flexible roster system will be put in place to work in efficiently with the other team members.
