**Join LeisureFit’s Fitness Programs Team**

LeisureFit is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Team Leader to lead our Fitness Programs team. We're looking for a positive personality who has experience working with children, teens and young adults.

As a dedicated leader, you will support the development, implementation, and execution of these programs, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for participants. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from administrative duties such as staff rostering and program scheduling to procurement processes and equipment maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the daily operation and activities of the fitness programs teams to ensure professional work practices and quality standards of service delivery are always maintained.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to specified fitness programs matters.
- Undertake administrative duties including staff rostering and program scheduling as required.
- Assist with the recruitment, selection and management of suitably qualified team staff.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff to develop a cohesive and high performing team.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
**Essential Requirements;**
- Bachelors in Health and Exercise Science or equivalent experience
- Certificate III in Fitness, GEL (Group Exercise Leader) or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Fitness, GEL (Group Exercise Leader) or equivalent
- Current Applied First Aid Certificate
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Working with Children Check

**Other Skills and Experience;**
- Proven expertise in gym program development and implementation
- Strong leadership skills, including team supervision and development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in developing, implementing, and refining systems, policies, and procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards
- Familiarity with purchasing and procurement processes
- Sound knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Dedication to providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
