ManpowerGroup is partnering with a reputable Federal Government Department seeking to recruit their next EL 1 Grant Officer. This position is an initial 12-month non-ongoing contract with possibility of extension with the ability to be based in either Melbourne, Moonee Ponds, or Canberra.

As the EL1 Grant Officer, you will be responsible for the development, approval, publishing, and implementation of formal grant documentation in line with the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines. You will also contribute to the running of the program by meeting regularly with key stakeholders and building capability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing the open competitive grant program framework with external stakeholders
- Development, approval, and execution of grant agreements and grant deeds with external stakeholders
- Organisation and coordination of a national network that informs the grant development
- Coordinate with key internal and external departments to implement the open competitive grant program framework
- Draft grant agreements and/or grant deeds
- Ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines are followed
- Contribute to process improvement, ensuring best practise across the network
- Experience in developing and implementing grant programs at a Federal Government level
- Sound communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines.
- Current AGSVA Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain.
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
