**Summary of the role**:
***This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dietitian looking for a new challenge to further your career and join our supportive and friendly Dietetics department and an expanding public health service that is committed to ensuring high quality, evidenced-based, person-centred, safe and effective patient care. This position will provide clinical expertise and leadership opportunities in the acute and ICU stream.
- Grade 3 Dietitian
- Parental leave position until July 2024
- Part-time, 0.6EFT, days negotiable
- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital - easy commute and access to public transport
- Provide clinical leadership, care and expertise within ICU and acute Dietetic services
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams in ICU and acute
- Support with undertaking and leading quality, innovation and research activities
- Actively contributing to the clinical education and support of the multidisciplinary team

**ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics, Master of Dietetics or equivalent qualification
- Eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and APD status
- Extensive clinical experience in acute and ICU
- Highly effective clinical leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills and practices with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- High level knowledge of current evidence based practices and a commitment to continuous quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others
- Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated and team oriented

Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care.
