A temporary assignment, with an immediate start, has become available within a Government Department for an experienced AO2 Administration Officer, located in Brisbane CBD. Support is required asap for approximately 1 month initially (possible extension) and we require availability to work 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
**Duties for this role include**:
- Recordkeeping duties including scanning, retrieving, matching, filing and archiving
- Collection and delivery of documents
- Mail processing (collection, sorting, stamping, distributing and recording of mail)
- Matching and logging information in systems
- Matching correspondence
- Scanning
- Data entry
- Other administrative duties as required
**To be considered, you will ideally demonstrate the following skills and experience**:
- Previous experience in an aligned administrative role where attention to detail was required to undertake tasks such as scanning, filing, mail processing and data entry
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Confidence learning and using new technology
- A proven team player approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organise your work to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
- Availability to commence asap
