**About this opportunity**
Reporting to the SCADA Supervisor a typical week in this role might look like/this role involves:
- Preparing and maintaining of technical documents, including system specifications.
- Preparation of Change Management Documentation and adherence to Engineering change processes.
- Delivering and planning works, including preventative maintenance.
- Planning, program and coordinating complex tasks and carry out duties without supervision.
- Solving both software and hardware in modern control systems.
- Preventative Maintenance Routines and reactive maintenance.
- Using your knowledge of operational control systems and processes, including regulatory requirements such as permits and licenses.
- Participation in 24/7 on-call roster to support SCADA system.

**About you**
Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and/or significant proven experience, relevant to this discipline.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Senior-Level control systems technician / system administrator with expertise in multiple facets of the control and monitoring SCADA and control systems.
- Proven and advanced knowledge of and experience in administration of SCADA distribution management systems.
- Sound knowledge of and experience in computer networking, including proven ability to undertake incident and problem management.
- Understanding of electrical, instrumentation and control principles, including the ability to read and understand system and network diagrams.
- Proven technical skills in working with and undertaking administration of Enterprise SCADA systems, including proven high-level troubleshooting skills.
- A systems approach to problem solving.
- A high level of knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems.
