**About the role**:
The Allocations Officer works within a small and friendly team to match Foundation Housing tenancies to applicants from the State’s Joint Wait List (JWL) in accordance with the company allocations policy, to ensure properties are let/re-let within target times and in a manner which seeks to achieve positive, sustainable tenancies for individuals and the broader community.
The role will be _based_ at our _Head_ Office in the heart of Leederville but will require occasional travel to other Perth offices or housing locations.
**You would be ideal for this role if you have**:
- Demonstrated understanding of the community housing sector and the role of a social housing landlord
- Highly developed verbal and written communication and interview skills working with a diverse clientele, including sensitivity to cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Demonstrated networking skills with outside agencies; allied health professionals and Government departments to determine appropriate supports for incoming clientele.
- Current WA Driver’s Licence.
The successful applicant for this position will be required to provide a National Police Check.
