**The Role**:
The Graduate and Entry Level Programs team is responsible for delivering the department’s Graduate Development Program (GDP), Indigenous Apprenticeship Program (IAP), Indigenous Australian Government Development Program (IAGDP), and other Entry Level Programs including the Career Starter.

The Program Manager is responsible to manage the delivery of the numerous Entry Level Programs. Responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the coordination of activities related to the delivery of the Graduate Development Program, including workplace rotations, mandatory training, and graduate events
- Interact with various stakeholders to resolve matters as required including escalating complex issues
- Prepare strategy, correspondence, and briefing material relevant to the Entry Level Programs including undertaking research
- Coordinate tender and contract management for the delivery of formal learning and development and Entry Level Program participant relocation
- Participate in external events relevant to the Entry Level Programs including working groups
- Contribute to business improvement by evaluating programs and recommending process improvements
- Potential of managing Program Officer(s) to ensure all components of the Entry Level Programs are delivered. This includes setting priorities, allocating resources, building team capability and assuring quality of products and communications
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for future Entry Level Programs

**The Ideal Person**:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in Graduate Recruitment or other entry level programs.

You will have well-developed:

- Organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to analyse information and exercise a degree of judgement
- Ability to act independently and provide high level advice relating to Entry Level Programs
- Written and oral communication skills

A Baseline security clearance is highly desirable.

**Salary / Rate**:

- $85,000 - $97,000 + 15.4% super
- 6 - 12 month hourly rate or non-ongoing or s26 transfer
