**Job Description**:
The Role - Where the road is your office

Our Drivers are responsible for transporting passengers and providing exceptional customer service. Ventura offer a range of driving services ranging from route service, charter and school runs.

We’re always interested in drivers who have a passion for getting customers to their destination on time, every time, safely and comfortably. Whether you’re looking to build your career or change your career, Ventura will set you up for success MR Licence training for successful applicants

Supported by our operations team, the duties of a professional bus driver will include:
Providing a friendly, professional and reliable bus service to our passengers;
Answering general customer queries and interacting with passengers;
Conducting pre trip inspections on your allocated bus;
Reporting any bus defects or on road issues to the Operations Control Centre
Working a variety of shifts, across a 5 day roster;
Driving specified routes as directed whilst ensuring the care, safety and comfort of Ventura customers.

**What you will need**:
To ensure your ongoing success as a professional bus driver you will require:
MR/HR/HC licence - if you have a car licence but still want to be a bus driver we also want to hear from you as we can provide licensing to the right applicants
A high level of customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse customer base;
Safe driving record
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
A strong focus on safety
Passing pre-employment medical, police and working with children check
