Slitter Operator

The Company is a well-established flexible packaging specialist, having been in operation for over 35 years. Due to recent growth the company has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Slitter Operator to join their team.

As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Slitter to ensure the efficient and accurate slitting of materials according to specifications. You will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the delivery of top-notch products. This is a full-time permanent position with both a day and afternoon shift currently available.

**The Role**:

- Set up and operate Slitting equipment
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment
- Troubleshoot issues
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience operating Slitting equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Work well within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- **Negotiable for the right person, the remuneration guide is from $27 (shift loading applicable for afternoon shift). **_
