**The Position**:
As part of the multidisciplinary clinical team, you will provide medical services to patients, as well as provide leadership to the medical members of the team, promote quality and safety, provide training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other consultants and the Head of Department.

**The Location**:
Located 2.5 hours from the Sunshine Coast and less than 3 hours from Brisbane (or a 40 minute flight) this town offers a relaxed lifestyle and a laid-back and friendly atmosphere. **The Facility**:
This hospital is a public hospital operated by the Queensland Health department and provides a range of healthcare services to the local community and surrounding areas.

The hospital has a range of facilities and services, including an emergency department, medical imaging, pathology, surgical services, obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health services, and a range of outpatient clinics. The hospital has a team of highly trained medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health staff, who work together to provide high-quality care to patients.

The hospital has recently undergone a major expansion and renovation, which has resulted in the addition of new facilities and services. The hospital now has modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, which allows for the delivery of the highest quality care to patients.

**Requirements**:

- Hold the FRACP and be registered as a Specialist with AHPRA.
- Have experience working as General Physician
- Staff Specialist
