Contrary to popular belief, the Air Force is not necessarily looking for someone who is at the top of the class academically or the sporting team superstar. Instead, Air Force seeks good all-rounders. People who can adapt to new situations quickly, who can logically and make decisions, and who have a broad range of interests and abilities. You don’t need technical expertise or flying experience.
If you are looking for a career that offers more than just a job, have a look at what the Air Force has to offer.
**Activities**
The Air Force Aviation Program for Women is a 4 day placement for young women who have interest in an Aviation career. Meals will be provided. Participants will have the opportunity to experience what life in the Air Force could look like and the different career options available. This is a money can’t buy experience and there is no commitment to join the Air Force after the program.
Participants will be involved in interactive activities such as:
- Flight Simulators (not suitable for participants who may be adversely affected by flashing lights);
- Physical Fitness Activities including exposure to a pre-entry Fitness Assessment;
- Leadership activities (group trust and problem solving) and supervised events with officers and mentors
- Opportunity meet Air Force members and ask questions about life in the Air Force and careers.
Participants will be

**RAAF Base Edinburgh** each day.
