If so, Europcar Australia has an exceptional opportunity for you to join our team as a **Connected Vehicle Operations Specialist** on a **Full Time basis **located at our Head Office in **Tullamarine, Victoria.**

As a Connected Vehicle Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in leading Europcar Australia’s “One Connected Fleet” program and roll out with the objective of sourcing a defined percentage of connected fleet within Australia and New Zealand. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the processes and procedures implemented are fully embedded in the business and best practice is developed and shared.
**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Lead the program in Australia and New Zealand ensuring its effective and efficient coordination and implementation
- Develop and manage the business case and budget
- Ensure procurement activities comply with local regulations, safety standards and privacy laws
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and develop procurement strategies that align with global objectives
- Work closely with the product development team to establish procedures and manage the connected vehicle products and services
- Identify and explore potential suppliers and business opportunities to expand the adoption of connected vehicle solutions
- Forecast procurement trends and adjust strategies as necessary
- Manage internal communications and present procurement reports

**To be considered for this position you should possess**:

- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the car rental industry is essential
- Previous experience with connected fleet
- Strong Operational knowledge, both practical and theory
- Knowledge of connected vehicle technologies and automotive connectivity
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience in driving results
- Detail-orientated approach with the ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with local automotive regulations and market dynamics
- Passion for innovation, with a strong commitment to driving positive change in the car rental industry
