As a Indigenous Relationships Advisor, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:
- Provide regional advice and services within Powerlink on the engagement of Traditional Owners, other First Nations stakeholders and peak bodies
- Develop and implement relevant strategies, such as Powerlink’s Indigenous Participation Framework, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the business and, where relevant, with external stakeholders.
- Identify regional and localized opportunities for First Nations Participation such as training, employment and subcontracting opportunities for First Nations communities.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Degree level qualifications in business or social sciences or substantial relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Aboriginal Parties and government departments, and ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with traditional land owners, and community groups
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on a diverse range of cultural heritage, Native Title, and landholder issues.
