**Role Purpose**

Aesop are seeking an influential and collaborative **Agile Delivery Lead **to join for 12-months operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.

In this role, you will lead delivery within the Retail Product Team to implement a major upgrade to our global Point of Sale (POS) system and support ongoing changes to the platforms and systems used by our retail stores globally.

Working closely with the Product Manager and the Retail Product Team, you will be responsible for leading delivery of planned initiatives, working with the Product Owner to prioritise and plan new features/initiatives, coordinating and negotiating with key stakeholders in regional teams, managing coordination with our vendor and ensuring that risks are well-managed and initiatives on track.

Note that this is not a purist Agile role, but instead requires a pragmatic view to utilise Agile practices and values to support effective delivery.

The nature of this role requires an individual that is comfortable working autonomously but also the flexibility in working hours/arrangements to accommodate the need for regular regional/global meetings within and across Asia, ANZ, Americas, and Europe time zones.

**Some things you may find yourself doing**
- Lead one or more teams on delivery
- Take ownership of and facilitate relevant agile ceremonies (e.g., planning sessions, retrospectives, daily stand ups, backlog replenishment sessions, backlog refinement sessions) as well as any other planning sessions and workshops required with other stakeholders
- Take a strategic view of team delivery systems and help optimise the system’s ability to deliver value quickly
- Work with product owners to break down and plan features and initiatives
- Take ownership of team capacity management to ensure a steady flow of work at a sustainable pace
- Help the team to identify, raise and remove impediments to enable optimal flow of work
- Take ownership of identified risks and issues, and mitigate, resolve, or escalate as required
- Ensure the team delivers high-value, quality outcomes and celebrate their success
- Work with stakeholders (including vendors and regional teams) and delivery teams to identify and manage dependencies

**What we are looking for**
- Considerable experience in a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar role with a strong technical delivery background
- Exposure to Agile values and practices (e.g. Scrum)
- An ability to build effective relationships within the team, stakeholders, and broader organisation, coupled with strong influencing skills
- Expertise and confidence in facilitating agreement across various stakeholders - driving timely alignment to enable delivery within required timeframes
- A high level of emotional intelligence, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Retail, particularly POS systems (highly advantageous)
- Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and digital collaboration tools (preferred)
