Swim School Supervisor
- Expressions of interest for the 2023 - 2024 Swim Outdoor Season
- Set roster for Swim School terms with flexibility. (25 to 28 hours / week)
- Commencing mid-September 2023 and completing end of March 2024

Maxima has been engaged to recruit an experienced Swim School Supervisor for the upcoming swim season with our highly regarded client, the George Bolton Swimming Centre.

**The Role**
Key daily responsibilities include:

- Administration and Supervision of the Burnside Swim School and other aquatic programs.
- Customer Service/ Reception duties.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service to the community is priority, guided and supported by the Aquatic Programs Officer.
- Actioning a range of queries using the organisation guidelines

As a part of this role, you may also be required to assist with first aid or be involved in supporting the team with emergency response procedures.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate
- Swim School / Aquatics or relevant recreation administration experience
- First Aid / CPR Certificates
- DHS Working with Children check.
- Child Safe Environments - RAN training (or with view to obtain)

**Desirable Qualifications and Training**
- Extension Teaching Certificates (Infant/Adult/Access & Inclusion etc.)
- Experience with Centaman bookings and POS systems
- Asthma & anaphylactic management
- Experience in a busy, customer focused environment
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate

**About You**
You have a passion for water safety, with knowledge and experience in teaching a range of age groups and ability levels. Strong people skills assist you in providing education and support, to the students and teachers within the Swim School community. You enjoy contributing to an energetic and fun working environment.

You have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure swim school members, patrons and parents are gaining maximum benefit and enjoyment from the services provided.

- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
